A weekly live 90 minute group webinar for those who are interested in a hands on experience to work through some of the basics and more advanced features of the Ghost Phone together.
These sessions began Jan 8th 2025. Regardless of the start date, you can sign up at any time and access the pre-recorded sessions you may have missed to watch at your leisure.
There will be approximately 10 x 60-90 minute sessions.
Topics covered to date are:

Class #1 (1-8-25): This introductory class covered developing a personalized digital privacy roadmap, documenting your current digital footprint, and migrating systematically from Google/Apple ecosystems while understanding privacy trade-offs and available resources.
Class #2 (1-15-25): This class focused on GrapheneOS device management, including Private Spaces setup, user account management, data migration techniques, and security best practices when comparing browser vs app access methods.
Class #3 (1-22-25): The third class provided detailed instructions for setting up Nextcloud for contact/calendar syncing, configuring Thunderbird mobile email client, using privacy-focused navigation apps like MagicEarth.
Class #4 (2-5-25): This class explained telecom infrastructure, mobile network operators, VPN functionality and providers, EMF/5G technology concerns, and VoIP services as alternatives to traditional carriers.
Class #5 (2-12-25): This session explored AI tools like Claude.ai, Brave Leo, and ChatGPT, demonstrating their practical applications for document analysis and technical support, while also covering internet security measures when traveling.
Class #6 (2-19-25): The sixth class covered alternative app stores (F-Droid, Aurora Store), secure messaging options beyond SMS, using your phone as a scanner, and app sandboxing techniques for privacy protection.
Class #7 (3-5-25): This class discussed realistic digital privacy expectations, explaining the “layers of privacy” concept, why changing OS and browser solves 90% of privacy issues, threat modeling based on personal needs, and effective strategies for communicating privacy concerns to others.
Class #8 (3-12-25): This class focused on secure communications technologies, including satellite communications limitations, encrypted messaging apps (Signal, Telegram, Session, Matrix/Element), offline communication methods, and mesh network options using LilyGo devices.

These recorded sessions are made available to anyone who subscribes.
