The Mic-Lock Microphone Blocker with SoundPass comes in two (2) varieties:
- USB-C with SoundPass
- Lightning with Soundpass*
They offer audio privacy while still allowing you to enjoy listening to music, movies or a podcast with 3.5 mm headphones or external speakers.
*Please note the Lightning version only works on Apple iPhone (14 and lower) and older iPads.
PLEASE NOTE: per MIC-Lock – when using Voice Assistants:
When Siri, Bixby, or Google Voice Assistant are turned on in your devices’ Settings, that is at the operating systems level, which is the highest level that your device recognizes.
To prevent Siri, Bixby or Hey Google from always listening for their commands they must be turned of in your devices’ General Settings.
Unless you turn these voice activated commands off in Settings no accessory can override the operating system.
How Does the Mic-Lock Protect Audio Privacy?
